LABORATORY WORK.
The Council have made arrangements with the Clinical
Research Association for examination and reports on all suspected
cases of Diphtheria, Typhoid Fever, and Tuberculosis.

84 specimens were examined and reported upon as follows:-

The six deaths from Tuberculosis were all previously
notified cases, from which it would appear that the notification
of Tuberculosis cases is efficiently carried out. There were no
cases of wilful neglect or of refusal to notify Tuberculosis in
any form.
