DENSITY OF POPULATION.
The District has an area of 1,509 acres. The census of
1911 showed the average number of persons to the acre to be
6'9, as compared with 5'5 in 1901.
The following is the density of population of each parish in the District:—

BIRTH RATE.
The nett number of births registered in the District
during the year was 224, as compared with 217 in 1910, and
214 in 1909.
Of these births, 120 were male and 104 female.
The Birth Rate, calculated as the rate per 1,000 of the
population, is 21 "3, as compared with 19'4 in the previous
year.
The nett illegitimate births registered give a proportion
of 31 per 1,000 of the total births.
