(b) Medical Examinations
During 1964, 51 medical examinations were carried out in
respect of the new entrants to the Council's service.
In addition to these medical examinations, a considerable
number of medical reports were obtained from family doctors and
hospital consultants concerning employees absent from duty through
sickness for more than a short period. Once again, it is a pleasure
to acknowledge the courtesy and co-operation which I receive on
all occasions from the General Practitioners in Southgate.
