(b) Medical Examinations
During 1960, forty-six medical examinations were carried out
in respect of the new entrants to the Council's service.
In addtion to these medical examinations, quite a number of
medical reports were obtained on employees absent from duty for
more than a short period through sickness. These reports were
obtained from the family doctor with whom, as I have already said,
we have the most happy relations, or from a hospital.
