Waste Paper.—The Secretary of the Board of Trade states

contribution to the supply of paper and board-making materials.
We all appreciate the efforts made by the housewife and authorities
in achieving this increase but I would particularly like to take
the opportunity to congratulate Local Authorities on their contribution
to the work and say how much 1 value their contribution.
I want, therefore, to urge all concerned with collecting waste paper
to continue and, if possible, increase their efforts.”
Residents are requested to bundle their paper and to keep it
separate, as special compartments are provided in the vehicles for
