ISOLATION HOSPITAL.
The number of patients treated in Hospital during 1946 was 417,
as against 430 during 1945 and 441 during 1944 (this total comprises
all patients admitted during the year, together with those in
Hospital on 1st January, 1946).
The drop in the total number of patients treated was due, very
largely, to the fact that arrangements were proceeding during the
latter part of the year for the Hospital to be transferred to the County
Council on 31st December, 1946.
