was the local campaign in September, 1946, when slides and
trailer films were shown in local cinemas and advertisements
appeared in the local press. The campaign lasted approximately
three weeks, and was quite successful.
Antitoxin.—Various types of antitoxins and vaccines are kept
in stock in the Public Health Department, and are available for
issue to general practitioners on application.
Disinfection and Disinfestation.—The following is a summary
of the work carried out under this heading during the year:—
