Health Service in 1947. This scheme has been submitted to the
Education Executive Committee and to the County Education
Committee, for approval. It is anticipated that we will become
responsible for the day-to-day administration of the local School
Health Service some time during the coming year.
I should like to take this opportunity of expressing my thanks to
the Chairman and Members of the Public Health and Maternity and
Child Welfare Committees for their support and consideration
throughout the year. I must also thank the members of my Department
for the manner in which they have carried out their many
duties, not only during 1946, but during the years when I was
absent from the Borough.
I am, Mr. Mayor, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
W. C. HARVEY,
Medical Officer of Health.
Southgate Town Hall,
N.13.
