NOTIFICATIONS OP INFECTIOUS DISEASE - INFECTIOUS
SICKNESS RATE.- 636 cases of infectious disease were
notified during the year, as set out in the following
tables. This compares with 1,229 notifications in
1943, 796 in 1942, 1278 in 1941 and 591 in 1940.
The Infectious Sickness Rate for the district was
9.91 as against 18.77 in 1943, 12.1 in 1942, 19.69 in
1941 and 8.88 in 1940.
