The distribution of milk under this Order was
discontinued on July 31st. The scheme of the Ministry
of Food for the provision of milk free or at reduced
rate to expectant mothers, nursing mothers and children
under 5 came into operation at that time.
Dried milk continued to be issued throughout the
year, 6764 lbs (approx) being distributed free or at
cost price.
