The Tuberculosis, Venereal Disease.apd School
Clinics (Middlesex County Council) continue as set
out in the Report for 1938..
INSTITUTIONAL PROVISION for unmarried mothers,
illegitimate infants and homeless children. No
change from the arrangement's in the Report for .1930.
'AMBULANCE FACILITIES. - The . details set out in' t.he
Annual Report for 1935, as amended by the alterations
referred to in the Reports for 1936 and 1939 still
obtain.
MORTUARY. - During 1940, 48 bodies wer.a. deposited
in the Council's mortuary situated at the rear of
the Town Hall. Forty-five post-mortem examinations
were held.
LABORATORY FACILITIES.- The following-tables set
out the work carried out at the Council'srlaboratory,
and at other laboratories to which Material was sent
during 1940.
