a summary of the work carried out under this heading
during the year
Total number of rooms disinfected 387
Total number of articles of bedding,
etc. disinfected 3,007
Total number of articles destroyed 312
Number of verminous houses disinfested 100
Number of rooms disinfested 205
ISOLATION HOSPITAL.
The number of patients treated in hospital
during 1939 was 334, as against 562 during 1938,
and 505 during 1937 (This number comprises all
patients admitted during the year, together with
those in hospital on 1st January, 1939).
