of emergency.
1 should also like to thank my Deputy, Dr. A. S. Burns, for
the numerous services which he rendered to the Hospital and to
myself during the year.
Finally, I should like to express my most sincere appreciation
to the members of the Joint Hospital Committee for the unvarying
courtesy and assistance received throughout the course of the year.
After a long period of hospital administration, I have a very keen
realisation of the help which a Committee can afford its officials,
and it is with no desire to exaggerate that 1 state that the
encouragement, which I have received from the Joint Hospital
Committee has been unequalled within my experience.
