The year 1935 saw marked progress in the negotiations which
are taking place regarding the extension of the Isolation Hospital
and the establishment of a joint hospital district. The end of
these negotiations now appears definitely in view, and 1 hope that
next year it may be possible to report even more concrete progress.
Dr. Tate, the County Medical Officer of Health, has again
supplied statistics relating to School Clinics and Public Elementary
Schools.
Finally, it is once again my privilege to tender my grateful
thanks to the Chairman and Members of the Public Health Committee
and to the Members of the Borough Council for the help and
courtesy extended to me during the past year. I should also fail
in my duty did I not express my grateful thanks to every member
of the Public Health Staff for their unfailing co-operation
throughout the year.
I am, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
W. C. HARVEY,
Medical Officer of Health.
May, 1936.
