In two of the three cases classified as ''unsatisfactory'' the
barrows were being used temporarily. In one case the bread was
exposed on top of the barrow and in the other the bread was deposited
on straw. Four days after complaining of this, another, satisfactory
barrow was in use. The third unsatisfactory barrow had no shelves.

With the exceptions noted above the types of distributing
vehicles used were modern and satisfactory.

Twenty-two had clean hands, 47 moderately clean hands and 9
dirty hands.
On two occasions a roundsman was seen carrying a basket containing
bread, over his shoulder. The bread was touching his coat—
no overall being worn.
Roundsmen were seen smoking on three occasions.
