Dental Treatment.—As suggested in last year's Report, the
arrangement between the liorough Council and the Middlesex
County Education Authority for the treatment of mothers and
children at the Dental Clinic at Broomfield House was terminated
in June, 1934. After careful consideration of various schemes,
the Maternity and Child Welfare Committee decided to make use
of the Eastman Dental Clinic, and arrangements have now been
completed whereby Southgate mothers and children will be treated
at that Clinic, where the work is of an exceedingly high standard.
The final financial arrangements are still under discussion.
During 1934 no dental treatments were carried out at the
Broomfield House Clinic. No particulars are yet available of the
mothers and children who were sent to the Eastman Dental Clinic.
