VI. LABORATORY WORK.
Pathological and bacteriological examinations are carried
out by the laboratory at St. George's Hospital, by arrangement
with the District Council.

During the year, 457 specimens were sent and reports received as follows:—

Diphtheria Antitoxin is always kept in stock at the
Public Health Department at the Town Hall and issued to
all medical practitioners on application at anv time.
Influenza vaccine for prophylactic use is also available.
