During the past year Mr. A. V. B. Allen, my Sanitary and
Clerical Assistant, has qualified by examination of the Royal
Sanitary Institute for the duties of a Sanitary Inspector, and,
as a further qualification by securing the Diploma of the
Institute of Hygiene, and whilst before so doing he possessed
a good practical experience of the duties, such qualifications
will undoubtedly improve his status when deputising for me
in that capacity. I feel that it is only by mentioning this fact
(•hat I can pay tribute to the loyal service your District lias
secured at his hands.
(Signed) WM. AUGUSTUS FARNHAM,
Sanitary Inspector.
