TUBERCULOSIS
The number of new pulmonary and non-pulmonary cases
notified during 1952 was 52 and 5 respectively ; these figures show
decreases of 8 and 1 in comparison with 1951. Inward transfers
decreased from 36 to 23 and the outward transfers increased from
29 to 49. The total number of cases in the district is 556 a percentage
of .78 of the population, which shows a slight decrease .over
the 1951 figure of .822.
