the Health Services Act, their work has been taken over by the
County Council.

NURSING HOMES
The names and addresses of private midwives and private
maternity nursing homes can be supplied on application to this
office.
IMMUNISATION
Provision for immunisation is made under the Health Services
Act and is the responsibility of the County Council. Existing
arrangements have continued, however, and I have held regular
sessions at Northwood, Ruislip Manor and Eastcote House Clinics.
During the year the following immunisations were undertaken
