It would appear that according to the number of cases of
infectious disease notified throughout the year, there has
Been a considerable decrease in the total, as well as a
decrease in admissions to hospital viz;
Cases notified Adm; to Hospital.

Out of the seven cases of Diphtheria notified, four
occurred in Service patients between the ages of 21 and
36 yrs. It is not known whether these patients had been
immunised. The remaining three cases occurred in girls
of 5, 9 and 18 yrs. , none of Whom had been immunised.
