The cows and sheds have been inspected very frequently
(144 inspections in the year), and I think I can
say that the cows and sheds compare very favourably with
those in other districts which I have visited.
Meat and Food Inspections.
There are two slaughterhouses in the district. Killing
takes place three days per week at each slaughterhouse.

Five in number, these are kept in a satisfactory condition.
Food Shops and Stores.
Visits are paid to premises where food is prepared,
stored and sold.
Sale of Food and Drugs Act, Etc.
This is administered by the Middlesex County Council.
