Child Guidance Clinic
The work of the Child Guidance Clinic continued throughout
the year and 148 Romford children were referred to the clinic for
treatment in addition to 192 children from neighbouring districts.
A total of 2,571 psychiatric interviews were carried out and 3,743
interviews with other members of the clinic staff.
At the end of the year 303 cases were under treatment at the
clinic and 39 cases were awaiting their first appointment.
