The Dental Clinic at Parklands Junior School was refitted

the Dental Officer resigned in August and it was not possible
to make use of the clinic for the remainder of the year.
During the year 9,018 children were inspected by the Dental
Officers at school and treatment was offered to each child who
was found to be dentally unfit.
7,325 attendances were made for dental treatment.
Specialist Services
Orthopaedic and Ophthalmic Clinic Sessions continued at
Marks Road Clinic and the Harold Hill Health Centre throughout
the year in co-operation with the Regional Hospital Board. The
Physiotherapy Clinic at Harold Hill was closed in August owing
to the resignation of the Physiotherapist but re-commenced in
October, when a new appointment was made.
