The use of triple antigen has steadily increased since it was
included in the County Council's scheme at the end of 1961, a total
of 1,148 children being immunised with this vaccine compared with
705 in 1962. This has had the effect of increasing the numbers
immunised against Whooping Cough from 981 in 1962 to 1,291
in 1963.
