The 1,444 children born in 1963 who attended the Clinics during
the year represent 86 per cent, of the total number born, after
allowing for the fact that mothers of babies born in the last two
weeks of the year could scarcely have had an opportunity of taking
their babies to a clinic before the end of the year.
