(iv) Caravan Sites.
In addition to the two sites mentioned in my previous report,
a further site in Walton Road received Public Health, and Planning
consent. This is permitted to accommodate 8 caravans.
In my last report, I indicated that a Compulsory Purchase
Order was under consideration for land in Oldchurch Road. This
has now been completed. At present, there are caravans on this site,
and, although the land has not been purchased for this purpose,
the caravans will be permitted to remain there, until arrangements
can be made for their disposal elsewhere. In the intervening period
the Council will administer this site.
