(c) As the result of the service of notices, the necessary works
were completed, by the owners or occupiers in all cases except
'281, the works for which were still in hand at the end
of the year.
(v) Factories Act, 1937.
It 13 noted from Ministry of Health Circular 13/47 that, in
respect of the year 1947, amended statistics will be required in connection
with the above Act. The following table is, therefore, given
for the year under review in the form which was required, immediately
prior to the outbreak of the war.
