Whilst in operation, we again had the kind assistance of the
Women's Voluntary Services, and the members of the Volunteer
Car Pool, in the matte rof transport.
(v) Air Raid Precautions.
During this year, owing to the successful conclusion of hostilities,
work in connection with Air Raid Precautions ceased, pending
further instructions from the Government, and all equipment, not
permitted to be retained by the personnel, was returned to store.
Suitable letters of appreciation for the services rendered were sent
to the personnel.
