by me, and when found to be impure the South Essex
Company's water has been laid on. Insanitary conditions
have in certain instances been remedied by the intervention
of the Sanitary Inspector.
The various bake-houses and slaughter-houses have been
inspected and found in a satisfactory condition.
Tables of mortality and of sickness, compiled in acccordance
with the requirements of the Local Government Board's
instructions, are appended to this report.
