Poliomyelitis.
One isolated case was notified, a male aged 16 years. He received hospital
treatment and recovered.
Cerebro-Spinal Fever.
A girl, aged 5 years, was notified and removed to hospital. A Penge
resident, notified in another area, died from the disease.
Measles.
Of the 120 cases notified, 29 were in the month of August, the others being
spread over the year.
Whooping Cough.
The majority of the cases occurred during the Spring.
Disinfection.
Verminous rooms disinfected 183
Rooms fumigated 83
Mattresses disinfected 75
Blankets disinfected 87
Pillows disinfected 126
Miscellaneous articles disinfected 210
