Ten of the 12 deaths from Pulmonary Tuberculosis were
of cases notified in this district.
Two of the 5 cases of other forms of Tuberculosis who
died during the year had been notified.
During the year 103 specimens of sputum were sent to the
Kent County Laboratory, Maidstone, to be examined for
tubercle bacillus; 29 of these were positive.
