Smoke nuisances were found at four factories and abated
after informal action.
Swimming Baths and Pools.
There are none in the area.
Eradication of Bed Bugs.
Bed bugs were found in two Council houses and 65 other
houses, all of which were disinfected.
The methods employed for freeing houses of bed bugs

When considered necessary, the bedding is removed and
steam disinfected.

the Head Teachers are notified of cases of infectious diseases
