Population of overcrowded families:—

my report.
Under the Act, persons over 10 years of age are counted
as one person, and those over one year and under 10 years of
age as half a person. Infants under one year are not counted.
It was found that 95 structurally separate houses and
flats containing 582 rooms, and 235 tenements containing 692
rooms were empty.
Ten cases of overcrowding were found in the houses and
flats owned by the Council, four of which were relieved during
the year.
