Prosecutions were taken for non-compliance with notices
served under sections 91-94 of the Public Health Act, 1875,
regarding nuisances caused by general housing defects, with
the following results:—
1. Order made to comply with Notice within 21 days.
Defendant ordered to pay £1 1s. 0d. costs and
Court Costs.
2. Order made to comply with Notice within 7 days.
Defendant ordered to pay £1 1s. 6d. costs.
3. Order made to comply with Notice within 14 days.
Defendant ordered to pay £3 3s. Od costs.
The orders of the Court were complied with in each case.
The drainage systems of 4 houses were entirely reconstructed,
the drains of 43 houses partially relaid, and 46 cleared.
