These have been periodically limewashed and inspected.
Very little slaughtering is now done in the District.
The approximate number of animals slaughtered
during the year is :—
Cattle 114
Pigs 271
Sheep 420
Total 805
Bakehouses.
There are 17 bakehouses in the District, four are underground,
the other certificated underground bakehouses being
now disused.
The limewashing has been duly carried out twice in the
year, and on the whole the conditions are satisfactory.
