Town Hall,
Anerley, S.E. 20.
To the Chairman and Members of the Urban District
Council of Penge.
Gentlemen,
I have the honour to present my Report upon the
work carried out by this Department during the year 1921.
I have, as far as possible, endeavoured to accomplish
the work of the Department by letters and Intimation Notices
without resorting to Statutory Notices. The number of
letters and Intimation Notices were 1686, Statutory Notices
281 and 828 forms were also written.
A great deal of time is occupied by interviews with
occupiers, owners and builders, and in answering enquiries.
The drainage systems of two houses have been entirely
reconstructed, whilst those of 24 were partially relaid
and 46 were cleared.
