During the year, 19 deaths have been referred to the
following Zymotic diseases :—
Small-pox 3
Diphtheria 1
Croup 2
Enteric Fever 3
Influenza 7

This gives a Zymotic death rate of 0.7 per 1,000.
INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
The total number of Infectious Diseases notified during the year under the Infectious Disease Notification Act of 1889 was 352, and were as follows:—
