REFUSE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL.
Mr. Crowe reports
Regular weekly collections of household refuse from all premises
was maintained throughout the year with very little disturbance at the
Bank holidays.
The Council own a fleet of eighteen refuse collecting vehicles
and fifty-four workmen are employed on the work of collection and
disposal.
Refuse is disposed of by means of controlled tipping.
