INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOODS
GENERAL
Over 700 inspections of food shops were made during the year and the
general standard of cleanliness was found to be satisfactory.
There were no outbreaks of food poisoning and of those notified only
seven single cases were confirmed.
During 1964, 208 samples were taken and only seven of these proved
to be unsatisfactory.
