Overcrowding.
The position at the 31st December, 1963, with regard to overcrowding is as follows:—
(a) number of dwellings overcrowded at the end of the year | 112 |
(b) number of new cases of overcrowding reported during 1963 | Nil |
(c) number of cases of overcrowding relieved | 66 |
(d) particulars of any case in which dwelling houses in respect of which local authority have taken steps for the abatement of overcrowding have again become overcrowded | Nil |
(e) any other particulars with respect to conditions in relation to overcrowding | Nil |
Common Lodging Houses.
There is only one registered common lodging house within the
area. This is situated at the junction of Poverest Road and Cray
Avenue and its life is probably limited by proposals for re-development
in the area.
