SECTION E.
INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOODS.
General.
The numerous visits made each year to food premises have for
their object the prevention of the illness generally known as " Food
Poisoning". As well as ascertaining if the provisions of the Food
Hygiene Regulations are being complied with, the opportunity is taken
to emphasise with the staff the importance of handling food in a
cleanly manner and storing it in a clean, cool place, preferably a
refrigerator.
No serious contraventions were detected and the general standard
of cleanliness was found to be satisfactory.
Food and Drugs Act, 1955.
