Smallpox and Vaccination.
No cases of smallpox occurred in this area, neither were any
suspected contacts of this disease brought to the notice of the
department.
During the year, 377 International Certificates of Vaccination
passed through the hands of the department for purposes of
authenticating doctors' signatures.
The County Medical Officer informs me that a total of 903
residents in the Urban District received primary vaccination and
118 re-vaccination during 1958.
