Milk and Dairies Regulations.
Twelve dairies have been registered under the above Regulations.
Details of the licences issued during 1958 are:—
Tuberculin Tested Dealer's Licences 12
Supplementary Licences 2
Pasteurised Dealer's Licences 12
Supplementary Licences 3
Sterilised Dealers' Licences 29
Supplementary Licences 2
Thirty-two visits were made to the dairies in the district during
1958.
Slaughterhouses and Slaughtermen.
One hundred and eighty visits were made by the Public Health
Inspectors to the five licensed slaughterhouses.
Licences were issued to 16 slaughtermen under the Slaughter of
Animals Acts, 1933 to 1954.
