Special Samples of Milk, Ice Cream, Water and Egg Products.
In addition to the samples previously mentioned, a further 194
samples were taken for bacteriological and pathological examination
and other special tests as under:—

Ice Cream.
At the end of the year, 169 premises were registered for the
storage and sale of ice cream, but none for the manufacture of
this commodity. Eighty-four inspections were made and conditions
were found to be satisfactory.
Thirty-three samples were sent for bacteriological and
pathological examination.

The following is an analysis of the results obtained during the past three years: —

and the bacteriological grading was highly satisfactory.
