Ice Cream.
At the end of the year, there were 148 premises registered for the
of ice cream, but none for the manufacture of this commodity.
Forty-three inspections were made and conditions were found to be
satisfactory.
Twenty-four samples were sent for bacteriological and pathological
examinations. No pathogenic organisms were isolated, and the
fading of the samples under the Methylene Blue test for cleanliness
showed that a high standard is being maintained.
