It is not possible to give any accurate idea of the number of
families on the waiting list living in overcrowded conditions, but all
the families in Group 4 (a) and 30 per cent in 4 (b), 10 per cent in 4 (c)
and 10 per cent in 4 (d) may be said to be living in crowded conditions.
MOVEABLE DWELLINGS.
During the year, three licences were renewed embracing a total
of seventy-six caravans and fifty tents. For the winter months, three
licences, covering a total of twenty caravans, were also issued.
In all, ninety visits of inspection to the various sites were made
by the Sanitary Inspectors.
The matter is now largely dealt with by Town Planning.
