spite of the fact that there are many premises built with facilities

Rodent Control.
On the 1st April the Council introduced a free service to
occupiers of private dwelling houses and this undoubtedly
explains the steep rise in the number of notifications received
and the consequent increase in the number of treatments as
compared with previous years.

rodent operatives and the District Sanitary Inspectors, following
complaints and by routine investigations, and the figures for 1950
are shown to illustrate the effect of the free service at private
dwellings.

followed up by treatments with poison bait in March and
September.
