TUBERCULOSIS.
The following Table shows the number of new cases notified during the year, together with the number of deaths registered:—

Treatment for cases of Tuberculosis is carried out by the Kent
County Council, and during the year the following number of patients
from this District have received treatment:—

Number receiving dispensary treatment 49
Dispensary supervision only 234
PUBLIC HEALTH (PREVENTION OF TUBERCULOSIS)
REGULATIONS, 1925.
PUBLIC HEALTH ACT, 1936 (Section 176).
No action under the above was required during the year.
BACTERIOLOGICAL WORK.
The County Laboratory, Maidstone, carries out the bacteriological work in connection with this District, and during the year the following number of specimens have been examined there:—
