MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE,

The Maternity and Child Welfare work in this District is carried out by the Kent County Council, who have established the following Centres and Clinics:—

NURSING FACILITIES.
No change has been made in the nursing facilities for the District.
MATERNITY AND NURSING HOMES.
The powers under the Public Health Act, 1936, relating to Nursing
and Maternity Homes have been delegated to the Council by the
County Council.
There are two registered Homes within the District, which provide
15 beds for maternity cases and 3 beds for other cases.
